EID AL ADHA MUBARAK

Riyhad City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Eid Al Adha Mubarak! We are delighted to extend our warmest greetings and wishes to all our readers, celebrating Eid Al Adha around the world. This joyous occasion holds immense significance for Muslims, and we are thrilled to share the spirit of this beautiful festival with you.

Eid prayers are performed in congregation at mosques or open grounds, followed by sermons emphasizing faith, sacrifice, and gratitude. Families gather to celebrate with festive meals, exchange greetings, and extend charity to the underprivileged. The occasion strengthens community bonds and reminds Muslims of their duty to help others.

The festival is observed on the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar, and coincides with the completion of Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Makkah. Muslims who can afford it perform the ritual of Qurbani (animal sacrifice), distributing the meat among family, friends, and those in need. This act reflects generosity, unity, and the spirit of sharing with the less fortunate.

Eid ul-Adha, also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," is one of the most significant Islamic celebrations observed by Muslims worldwide. It commemorates the devotion and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) when he was willing to sacrifice his son, Ismail (AS), in submission to Allah’s command. However, Allah replaced Ismail with a ram, symbolizing divine mercy and the importance of faith.
